Commonwealth War Graves Commission is to take over the upkeep of the graves of civilians and dependents in Royal  Naval cemeteries but before it does, these graves and cemeteries must be already maintained in an acceptable condition. Review of the conditions in Bidadari  Cemetery, Singapore which is in an unacceptable condition and therefore it was agreed that the remains  of Royal Marines, civilians and their dependents would be transferred from there to the Ulu Pandan Military Cemetery. The Ministry of Health in Singapore has approved a special Exhumation Licence to exhume the remains on certain conditions. Correspondence with the relatives of the deceased to inform them of the work and to allow repatriation of remains if desired. List of exhumations and reburials.    Also included are photographs of the new gravestones of a Service of Remembrance and Prayer held at Ulu Pandan, 16 February 1968 and an order of service for the service held to remember those whose remains had been removed and laid to rest at Ulu Pandan.
