Synopsis

He was stationed at Beach Road then. Police and rioters at station. His marriage in 1927. Background of his wife. Had to stop work at Robinson after marriage but called back as temporary during Christmas season. Customers then were all Europeans. Background of his father-in-law; of Eurasian descent but mistaken as Indian. Introduced to wife by friend. Courtship in those days.
