Synopsis

*Her feelings on getting the Cultural Medallion. Running the tea house set up by Chinese Theatre Circle (CTC), and the challenges. Suffered breast cancer in April 1999. Underwent treatment. Time to reflect. Still kept in touch with students. CTC performed in Brazil in 2001. In 2001, Mr Foong Choong Hon (冯仲汉) invited CTC to fundraise for 晚晴园. Discovered possible cancer cells in body before performance. Went for operation and recovered to perform for the fundraising event. Put matters before self. One of her proudest moments (fundraise). Comparison of students now and then. Performing less due to health concerns. 10th year anniversary (1993-2003) concert by students of Cantonese Opera Class at Victoria Theatre. Compared Cantonese opera productions in Hong Kong, China and Singapore. Commented on audience in Singapore. Mentioned Singaporean Cantonese opera artist Christopher Choo.
