Synopsis
Interviewee's background. Description of his childhood games and activities near Beach Road. Recounted how he collected larvae for fish. Elaborated on goods sold in shops along Rochor Road. Coffin shops there. Indian shops selling spices near Arab Street. Recalled area along Victoria Street and North Bridge Road. Described death houses at Sago Lane which kept terminally ill people.
