Synopsis

*Interviewee was made music inspector to promote Japanese songs in schools. Japanese school in Queen Street. Why interviewee was selected as one of the music inspectors. Japanese organized weekly orchestra performances at VIctoria Theatre mainly for their troops. Interviewee taught at St Anthony's Primary School during the Occupation before becoming inspector of schools around 1945. Japanese education during the Occupation.
