The hydrographic chart is Admiralty Chart No 2023, by J T Thomson in 1849, showing soundings in fathoms in Singapore New (proposed) Harbour, its vicinity and Sinki Strait (Selat Sengkir), submarine contours, ebb and flood directions and velocities, reefs, named islands, bays, beaches, points, rocks, shoals and spits, estuaries, names of rivers, main road, tracks, buildings, villages/settlements, vegetation, place names, hachures, Mount Faber, Mount Serapong, Mount Imbeah, Mount Chermin and Hodeens house with heights in feet, the southernmost coast of Singapore, Blakan Mati Island (Sentosa), Ayer Brani Island (Pulau Brani), Hantu Island, Silat (Telok Blangah) Road, St James, monastery, Rantau Panjang, and others.
