This survey plan of Tulloh Blangan (Telok Blangah) District, referenced 65 and dated 1 March 1843, was surveyed and plotted by J T Thomson, Government Surveyor. It shows the southermost part of Singapore, from Batu Berlayer to Pulo (Pulau) Brani at the east, Tumongong (Temenggong) Reserve, 3 pieces of Government lands, 2 pieces of which are within the Reserve, one at Silat Road (Telok Blangah Road and Kampong Bahru Road) connected by a track (Mount Faber Road) to the other on top of Mount Faber, Tumongong Ground, Tomungong's Residence, Tomungong's Castle drawn and some buildings, tracks, initial layout of 3 docks (Queen's Dock, Dock No 1 and Dock No 2) with relative plan view of sailing ships, dotted lines indicating edge of reclamation, Eastern Archipelago Company and P & O Company, part of Kampong Bahru Road, Soongei (Sungei) Sariah, Soongei Chermin, Soongei Batu Berlayer, Pulo Hantu (Pulau Keppel), Pulo Siloogoo (Pulau Renggis), and others.
