In 1983, the Registry of Business Names was merged with the Registry of Companies and became known as the Registry of Companies and Businesses.
The Registry of Companies and Businesses is a centre of information on registered particulars of business entities. Anyone who wishes to set up a business entity in Singapore must register with the Registry of Companies.
