Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong will make a working visit to the United Arab Emirates from 14-17 May 2005. Senior Minister will meet with members of the Abu Dhabi and Dubai Royal families, Ministers and business leaders.  He will attend events hosted by two Singapore companies which have secured business projects in the UAE. Senior Minister will be Guest-of-Honour at the First Anniversary Dinner of the Singapore Business Council in Dubai.

                        Senior Minister will make a working visit to Jordan from 17-18 May 2005. He will participate in the Petra Conference for Nobel Laureates at the invitation of King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

                        In the UAE, Senior Minister will be accompanied by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mr Zainul Abidin Rasheed, Minister of State for Trade and Industry and National Development Mr Heng Chee How, senior officials from PMO, MFA, MTI, MINDEF, and MAS, and a Singapore business delegation. In Jordan, Senior Minister will be accompanied by PMO and MFA officials.
