PRESS STATEMENT FROM THE PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE

Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong will attend the Thirteenth Summit of the Heads of State or Government of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 23-25 February 2003. The theme of the Summit is "Continuing the Revitalisation of the NAM".

Prime Minister Goh’s delegation will include Professor S Jayakumar, Minister for Foreign Affairs as well as officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During Prime Minister Goh’s absence, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Mr Lee Hsien Loong, will be Acting Prime Minister.
