  The Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) has a new Chief Executive, Mr Pek Hock Thiam. Mr Pek has taken over from Mr Benson Phua who resigned on 31 July 1997.

Mr Pek was formerly the Deputy Secretary (Management) with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served as the general manager of SDC from 1988 to 1989.
