Mr Cho Jock Kim delivers the welcome address while Mr William Prigge reads out a message from the President of Hilton International Company.

The guest-of-honour Mr S. Rajaratnam speaks about the future of hotel industry in Singapore and explains why hotels and shops must continue to provide the type of service that had made a good impression on the participants of and the press representatives covering the recent Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting held in Singapore.
