Records contain photocopies of his handwritten account (in ink) in the form of a diary of his work at Tanjong Rhu, Reclamation Scheme 5 July 1942 to 5 December 1942 when he was sent back to Changi. He was the camp surveyor at Sime Road camp. Very detailed account of the project which involved close co-operation with the Japanese. Trips to Johore to order timber for pilings. Includes sketches of the work. At the back of the book are notes on design.
