Papers of Kenneth B.H. Stevens, who was working for a civilian company in Singapore (Bousteads) before the war. His wife and son escaped safely back to England.

Records conatin photocopies from a bound notebook with his account of life as a POW in Changi and in the working parties on the island. Detailed account and good description of Singapore. He was camped near the Bukit Timah Rifle Range. Bought goods from a mraket at Bukit Timah. Notes what food could be obtained and what grown.
