Papers of Major JWD Bull
1942-1945
Records contain general account of massacre, last few days in Singapore and his time in Changi as an army doctor - a transcript of a tape recorded conversation between Dr james Bull and Mrs Piers Mackesy. He was working at the Alexandra Hospital at the time of the massacre. Another document is an account of the massacre. Other papers relate to his work as a doctor in the POW camps and there is a copy of his obituary. He later became an eminent diagnostic radiologist.
