File contains documents which include economic figures for Singapore during the Japanese occupation: cost of living, bank balances, relative values of real estate, sliding scale of the value of the Japanese dollar. There is also a copy of a bill to regulate the relationship between Debtors and Creditors in respect of debts prior to and during the period of enemy occupation of the Colony, 9 February 1948, a copy of the report of the select committee on this bill and associated correspondence between London and Singapore.
