Foreign Pol. 'A' Progs. Jan 1863 No. 105-7 - Series of correspondence between O Cavenagh, Governor of Prince of Wales Island, Singapore and Malacca, and the Secretary to the Government of India, regarding the conclusion of the 1862 Treaty with the Tumongong of Johore. The Treaty ratifies Articles 6 and 7of the Treaty of 1824 between the Sultan and Tumongong of Johore and the English East India Company, and contains a proviso by which the British Government will enjoy the right of obtaining earth from the side of the hill near Telloh Blangah. Copy of 1862 Treaty included.
