Foreign Pol Dept. 15 Jan 1823, No. 41 - Letter to W A Clubley, Secretary to the Government of Prince of Wales Island, informing of the opinion of the Governor General in Council for the following: 1) the discussions which J Crawfurd, Resident of Singapore, had with the Court of Siam regarding Queda; 2) Crawfurd's views as to the future policy to be observed towards Queda and other states paying tribute to Siam; and 3) the formation of a new treaty with Queda, in case it fell under Siamese authority.
