Cons 3 Jul 1850 No. 18 - Letter from the East India Company Court of Directors, London, to the Governor General of India in Council, replying to letters from the Bengal Government in the Public Department regarding various political subjects in 1849.  Subjects pertaining to the Straits Settlements include:
1) pensions received by the families of the Sultan and Tumongong of Johore; and
2) the supply of arms to the Governor of Kedah from the Public Store of Penang.
