Further correspondence on the allegations of William Proudlock including a lengthy letter from Governor Young to the Secretary of State for the Colonies in which he quotes the 'Free Press' which maintains that Proudlock's allegations are a 'concoction of insinuations' with the main intention to throw mud at the 'Judicial, Magisterial and Police Administration in the Federated Malay States'.
