WO 203/5125: Operation Zipper. SAESEA'S visit to units: planning programme

Correspondence pertaining to Supreme Allied Commander South East Asia (SACSEA)'s proposed visit to Zipper formations and units of all three services between 18-31 August. His tour will include Bombay, Vizagapatam, Rangoon, Madras, Mandapam and Cochin. Force Commanders are to study the tentative programme and submit a joint report embodying their criticisms and alternative proposals to HQ SACSEA by 5 August. From the moment SAC lands at any airfield his reception and subsequent movement by land or sea will be the joint responsibility of Force Commanders. SAC's visit to Zipper Forces in Trincomalee will be between 1-3 September.
