WO 203/5123: Operation Zipper. Clandestine requirements

Correspondence pertaining to clandestine activities as required by the Joint Force Commanders for Operation Zipper. Pre-D day clandestine activities cover: provision of intelligence; forward planning for provision of guides; sabotage and guerrilla activities; and counter scorch. Activities outside Malaya include: attack and destruction of Runa Prius tunnel; attacking and destroying ships at anchor in the Archipelagos and penetrating as far as the Singapore Roads. After re-occupation 'P' Division in conjunction with CAS (M) will require Clandestine Services to use guerrillas: as guards and patrols; to form a nucleus Police Force; and to provide disciplined personnel for the distribution of food and other essential commodities.
