WO 203/5102: Operation Zipper. Availability of units

Correspondence from Troopers to India pertaining to availability of units for Operation Zipper shows a table in four columns with headings: A - MINERVA Serial; B - Unit; C - Strength; and D - Date of availability. Correspondence from ARMINDIA to Eastern Command, Central Command Southarmy covers: Composition of Force; Dates of readiness; Leave policy; Training of  FMNS and units taking part in exercise Button. General Staff Branch minutes of meeting dated 27 May 1945 considered the effect of the revision of dates of readiness of certain FMNS and units. Problems cited relate to the provision of Order of Battle and of equipment, weapons and vehicles landing reserves, beach maintenance packs and waterproofing materials.
