Minutes of Rear HQ Supreme Allied Commander South East Asia (SACR) meetings to report on the progress of planning for Operation Zipper. Major General Lane at the fourth meeting of SACR assured Zipper Force Commanders that the convoys for Operation Zipper would not be changed. Commander in Chief, EIF issued a list of Forces constituted for Operation Zipper. ALFSEA requested an increase of two more divisions as a follow up of Mailfist as the Japanese strength have increased in Malaya. Planning paper pertaining to an appreciation of the factors governing the choice of Penang or Port Swettenham as the advance anchorage for the Fleet and an advance air base as a preliminary to the occupation of Singapore.
