Correspondence and minutes of Supreme Allied Commander South East Asia (SACSEA) meetings pertaining to Operation 'Stacey'. The objective of Operation 'Stacey' is to obtain photographic reconnaissance in the Hastings Harbour and Kra Isthmus in the vicinity of Victoria Point. Extract from SAC's 219th meeting quoted Major General Playfair's query regarding the photographic reconnaissance of the Conrad area in an operation about to be undertaken by an East Indies Fleet Carrier force. Correspondence from Supreme Allied Commander South East Asia (SACSEA) includes a request to extend the scope of Operation 'Stacey' to cover Phuket Island as well.
