Very detailed account of the Brigade's duties in Operation 'Zipper' which were to land in areas on the West Coast of Malaya adjacent to Kuala Lumpur and Port Swettenham. Includes aerial photograph maps of the landing areas. Includes operational orders and instructions after the Japanese surrender, including orders for disarmament and check of Japanese surrendered personnel. Also included is the DDCAO's, ( H.C. Willan) Report on the Military Government for the Malay Peninsula for the period 12 September to 30 September (1945), dated 7 October 1945 and maps: a large map of the Malay Peninsula and Singapore (Hind 1098, 1945), a map of Sipang (Hind 1035 Sheet 3 F/7), a map of Telok Datuk (Hind 1035 Sheet 3 F/3, Port Swettenham and Kland (Hind 1035 Sheet 3 B.13,14)
