WO 203/2900: Movement and Transportation Division. South East Asia: port facilities.

A meeting held on 19/20 Oct 1944 discussed the navy/army plans for Operation "Dracula". They studied locations for shore installations, workshops, repair yards, stores, landing craft bases and other port facilities. The views of the Navy was ascertained with regarding the berthing of ocean-going vessels, dredging, fuelling and watering arrangements. Correspondence suggested the attachment of a Nautical Advisor from the Singapore Straits Steamship Company.
