JPS 119 entitled, "Operations for the Capture of Singapore" planned to secure a bridgehead in Port Swettenham/Port Dickson area and then advance south by land and sea to capture Singapore. Paper included an assessment of the enemy's strength in the Malacca Straits and the Japanese Air Force in South East Asia. Part I covered operations in the Port Swettenham/Port Dickson area with detail descriptions of the topography and communications. Part II covered the advance southwards from Kuala Lumpur through Segamat, Ayer Hitam, Johore Bahru and finally to Singapore. Part III described Singapore Island's topography and roads in great detail.
