GROTTO OF OUR LADY OF LOURDES AT THE CONVENT, SINGAPORE
Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes at Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ). The convent, located at corner of Bras Basah Road and Victoria Street and thus affectionately called "Town Convent", was founded in 1852 by Father Jean Marie Beurel who bought the former private residence of H C Caldwell, built by George Coleman in the 1840s.
