The Mooncake Festival is celebrated on the 15th night of the eighth lunar month. It is marked by enjoying mooncakes while admiring the full moon in the garden, accompanied by a pot of freshly brewed Chinese tea. This shop in Chinatown stocks all varieties of mooncakes for sale, in terms of the flavors. The early type of mooncakes use lotus seeds as the sweet paste for the filling with the baked crust made from flour.
