UMAR PULAVAR TAMIL SCHOOL
Minister for Education Yong Nyuk Lin speaking at the opening ceremony of Umar Pulavar Tamil High School. The school first started as Umar Pulavar Tamil School in 1946, and was renamed Umar Pulavar Tamil High School in 1960 after a new three-storey building was completed. It was eventually closed in 1982.
