PRIME MINISTER PLANTS TREE AT EAST COAST PARK
Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew being shown a plan and briefed by Minister for National Development (MND) Teh Cheang Wan (left) and Commissioner of Parks and Recreation Department Wong Yew Kwan on the reclamation progress of East Coast and progress of the Changi Airport project. The Prime Minister and Mrs Lee were touring the park after Mr Lee planted a sea putat for Tree Planting Day.
