PART OF A SERIES OF AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHS SHOWING EAST CENTRAL, EASTERN COAST OF SINGAPORE
Aerial photo shows Kampong San Theng Cantonese / Hakka cemetery south of the Kallang River, with Kallang River meandering across the frame from right edge to bottom edge of frame. The area was cleared and developed into Bishan New Town later. Aerial photo also shows the fertile farmland and swamp forest around the Kallang River. On the left is part of the Kampong San Teng Cantonese and Hakka cemetery.
