POSTAL STRIKERS WITH PLACARDS OUTSIDE GENERAL POST OFFICE
People waiting to collect mail and telegrams at the General Post Office, Fullerton Building, where postmen picketed in shifts during the postal strike called by the Singapore Post and Telegraph Uniformed Staff Union. Posters and placards, like the one in the picture, were put up to rally for support for their effort in seeking fairer pay.
