Onerous job of writing paper on industrial land use. About Permanent Secretary Ngiam Tong Dow & Deputy Secretary Bernard Chen.

The challenges he faced in SBC. Talked about process of corporitisation.Concept of “shared vision” in SBC. Using golf to assist in staff gelling. About building up Chinese dramas & the immense work involved. Credited Dy Chairman Cheng Tong Fatt for this. Extensive revamping of radio. Setting up of Singapore Cable Vision (SCV)Pushing boundaries in SBC, with no limits for improvement all round. Starting of “Good Morning” show on TV as channel of information. Advent of MediaCorp.Start of a newspaper(TODAY). As well as Channel News Asia(CNA)Teamwork was SBC’s strength after some time.Talked about SBC’s Board.
