More about News bulletins. Recalled Shi Zuxian's gift in language, able to broadcast in Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien. Other staff in Chinese Department. Knew about Chinese School Broadcasting. There were few Radio networks then. Chinese program network shared with other languages. She left for Penang in 1949.

She gave advance notice to Radio Malaya before she resigned, Radio arranged for replacements. She became part-time Mandarin broadcaster for Radio Malaya's Penang Station. Described her work there. Why she came back to Singapore in1952. Went back to Radio Malaya to work part-time. Moved to Thomson then. Recalled meeting many new colleagues there.
