Born in 1941, Singapore.  His recollections of Kreta Ayer, Keong Saik Road and Banda Hill  in Chinatown.  Schooling years at Outram School.  Joined a scout troop.  Benefits of being a scout.  Description of Sands House at  Armenian Road.  His short working stint at Central Production Unit, Department of Broadcasting in 1963.  Recollections of his working days at the Singapore Harbour Board (SHB) /Port of Singapore Authority   (PSA) from 1963 to 1970.
