Worked in the Syonan Tokubetu Si during the Japanese Occupation. Rounding up of Chinese civilians at Jalan Besar. Life during the Japanese Occupation. Surrender of the Japanese in 1945. Japanese prisoners-of-war were used to clear the wharves in 1947. Applied for a job at Singapore Harbour Board (SHB).

*Applied for a job as an Assistant Traffic Superintendent at the Singapore Harbour Board (SHB). Job responsibilities. Port activities in the late 1940s.
