*Transferred to St George's Road Tamil School. School books imported from India and Malaya. Teachers worked hard because their jobs depended on students' performance in school. Integrated St George's Road Tamil School with Bharathithasan Tamil School. Tamil Education Society selected principal for schools. Suthanthrothayam Tamil School at Bukit Timah were for Dairy Farm workers' children.
