Synopsis

In 1970s, religious studies introduced into curriculum firstly for general knowledge and subsequently as a subject. Training of Malay teachers to meet the need. Subsequently, religious studies taken out from curriculum. Asa whole, Malay education system which has both secular and religious aspects fulfilled aim of making one a better person.
