Synopsis

Born and educated in India. Family background. Father and grandfather were barbers. Himself a barber since 10 years old. His education background. Arrived in Singapore in 1953. Worked for relative who was also a barber at 161 Dunlop Street. His impression of Serangoon Road from 1953 onwards; also Kerbau Road, Buffalo Road, Campbell Lane etc.
