Synopsis

Father Soh Tian Hoo came from China. Stayed at Nee Soon Road. Bought three plots of land, namely Heng Lee, Heng Hup and Sa Bek Siam. Planted gambier and pepper at Heng Lee, pineapple at Sa Bek Siam and rubber at Heng Hup. Planters were mainly Hainanese. Father's generosity towards villagers in Heng Lee estate. Father employed private teacher to teach him.
