Scope and Content:

Plan covers an area next to a section of Sirangong River showing the edge of the river, lots or plots, survey stations and traverses, property or plot of Mr Macrao with area in acres, rood and poles, and boundary distances (in links, as the area could be obtained using them) shown, and what appear as road reserve and access road reserves. The plan's textual data were written in pencil. No orientation is shown on the plan, but if the north-point is assumed to be pointing to the top of the plan, the road reserve along the north-west edge of the site is very likely that of Upper Serangoon Road where it terminates at the bank of Sungei Serangoon. The plan also shows construction lines for reducing Mr. Macrao's plot and the edge of the river to half the scale.
