It shows planning district and planning sub-district boundaries, a comprehensive development area, permanent residential zone along Balestier Road, Thomson Road and Jalan Toa Payoh, rattan and biscuit factories off Jalan Toa Payoh; oil mill and soap factories off Tai Gim Lane; sawmill at Jalan Datoh, rattan factory and Chinese temple at Ah Hood Road, rattan factory at Jalan Rajah, Seventh Day Adventist Mission; Marymount Convent off Toa Payoh Road, Caldecott Hill Estate, Polo Ground off Mount Pleasant Road, Police Training School and police barracks at Mount Pleasant, Tan Tock Seng Hospital; quarry and Lee Kuo Chuan School off Thomson Road, buildings, Sungei Whampoa, cluster and dispersed settlements, Chinese cemeteries, a public open space, major traffic routes, tracks, paths and others.
