Records of Deaths and Executions in Pearl's Hill Prison During Japanese Occupation
[132 pages] This file contains lists of prisoners that were executed or died of diseases in the Pearl's Hills prison during the occupation. The lists were actually destroyed by the Japanese, but copies of them were kept in secret by 2 Chinese working in the prisons, and they wished to be anonymous. Also in this file are letters from concerned family members with missing family members. They were seeking help to confirm if there were prisoners who died in the prison.
