Tuberculosis Case - Finding Programme, Minutes of Meeting of:
64 pgs- Contents on the 4-month mass x-ray programme to fight Tuberculosis, conducted by Department of Medical Service’s (DMS) TB Control Unit, from July 1959, covering 50,000 people in four selected areas.  The programme was conducted under Colombo Plan with the assistance of medical and radiological specialists from Australia.  While the logistics for the mass x-rays were handled by DMS, Department of Information Services assisted with the publicity like production of posters and leaflets, working with radio and the newspapers to publicise the rationale for x-rays, x-ray schedules and interviews by the specialists.
