Synopsis :Two segments covered in this programme:
1. Working Of Parliament - when the Singapore Parliament passes a Bill into Law, that is only the final stage in a complex process. This segment looks at what goes on behind the scenes, who are the people consulted when an issue is under discussion, how do the people's views change a policy and how policy decisions are arrived at.
2. Minang Story III: The Businessmen - the Minangs are known to be highly enterprising in trades. In Jakarta alone, they form 20% of its population. Mainly small and medium traders, some have established themselves at the international level. This segment examines what drives the Minangs on and make them successful businessmen.
