Synopsis :This week On the Red Dot examines what will it take to revive Singapore’s ailing music scene. Would throwing government money at the problem be any help at all? Should there be a minimum quota for Singapore music for our radio stations? We will also throw the spotlight on a new breed of DJs who are no longer content with spinning other people’s music and are coming up with their own unique tunes for the dance floor. Plus, we will look at an old music format that is making a strong comeback.
