Synopsis :This selection of Music from Singapore in the 1990/1991 ASEAN Exchange of Radio Programmes series features an English song called 'Unspoken Words' written by Ken Lim. The Singapore Broadcasting Corporation Chinese Orchestra then plays the 'Dream of the Red Mansions Overture' while Malay singer Tina sings two songs. The first, 'Sayang di Sayang' is written by Zubir Said who is the composer of Singapore's national anthem. The second vocal number performed by Tina is called 'Mawar Melati'. Also featured are a Tamil song urging young Singaporeans to excel in whatever they do and a jazz piece 'Brothers' by well-known jazz artiste Jeremy Monteiro.
