  • Synopsis :

    This selection of Music from Singapore in the 1990/1991 ASEAN Exchange of Radio Programmes features well known Singapore singers Dick Lee and Jacintha Abisheganaden in an English song called 'Unsaid'. Also featured are a Chinese piece based on a work for the pipa and another Chinese instrumental 'Plum Blossoms' for flute and guzheng. This depicts the strength of the plum tree which blossoms in winter. A Malay song called 'Aidil Fitri' is about the Hari Raya Puasa festival which Malays celebrate at the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. The programme also features a Tamil vocal, 'This Song is Sung by the Sky' and an English song 'Do Me No Wrong'.
